STEP ONE
Visiting the School
The admissions process is designed to help you learn as much as possible about our school, and at the same time help us become better acquainted with you and your child. Because Mesorah Day School offers a different educational model than any of the other schools in our community, it is important that parents assess our environment’s potential fit for their family. For that reason, we require that prospective parents attend an Open House or tour and observation of our school to begin the Admissions process. During the 45 minute tour/observation, prospective parents will learn about Mesorah Day School, have an opportunity to observe in a classroom, and ask questions. Please contact us here to start the process.
STEP TWO
Application Procedure
Following your attendance at an open house or tour, we will send you a link to our application or you can apply to here.
Applications are kept on file and your child is added to our waiting list; it is not necessary to resubmit an application every year. Parents who have an application on file are notified as potential openings occur. If space allows, we admit qualified students at anytime during the school year.
We strive to balance our classes by age and gender. Priority consideration is given to qualified students in this order: siblings of currently enrolled families, students transferring from other Montessori schools, and then all other qualified applicants.
STEP THREE
Child Visit (for children 3 years old and older)
Your child will spend a morning in the classroom to assess their fit for Mesorah Day School. These visits will allow your child the ability to explore with some of the Montessori learning materials, talk about, and show us how they like to learn. Montessori is a great fit for many types of children. Tapping in to each child’s types of intelligence, we strive to truly learn a child’s best learning modality and work to strengthen all areas of development.
We will notify you of your application’s status within two weeks of your child's visit.
STEP FOUR
Enrollment
Upon acceptance, you will complete online enrollment forms which includes a deposit of $500 and material/activity fee. Possible other applicable fees depending on which program your child is registered.
